Sixth Form Extra-Curricular Activities
Consistent excellence at A level testifies to the quality of education provided at Notre Dame Sixth Form, but there’s so much more to life than exam results!
Our Sixth Formers play a prominent role in the life of the school, and every student is encouraged to take on some responsibility, initiate a project or take part in an enterprise.

Sixth Formers act as ‘Big Sisters’ to the younger years, thus acting as role models for the lower part of the school; they run the House System as House Captains and House Vice Captains; they are involved in choosing the school charity which the school will support for an academic year and have, in the past, raised substantial sums by involving the whole school in ‘Talent Shows’; they act as tour guides on Open Days and represent the school at functions. They assist the Sports Department with coaching younger girls and are involved in the Junior School with ‘Breakfast Club’ and ‘Aftercare’. They learn to work on their own and as part of a team, grow in confidence and as a result have much more to offer higher education and potential employers.
