Notre Dame’s Golden Girls
On Thursday 26th January, 5 girls went to Trinity School Croydon to compete at the Surrey Schools Individual Swimming Championships.
All girls swam fantastically well achieving some super results:
Hannah Burvill (Year 9) raced to 1st position and a new Championship record in the Junior girls 100m freestyle in a personal best time of 57.75 seconds! This is an incredible achievement.
Lucy Sessions (Year 9) also raced to 1st position in the Junior 100m butterfly in a personal best time of 1.09.42, less than 2 seconds away from the Championship record. Another superb time.
Lara Allpress (Year 8) achieved 3rd place in the Individual medley, finishing in a personal best time of 1.17.46.
Phoebe Singer (Year 9) was on personal best form in the Junior 100m breaststroke finishing 5th in a time of 1.31.57.
To finish off a superb set of results, Jasmin Monteiro (Year 7) achieved a 7 seconds personal best time in the lower-junior 100m breaststroke finishing in a time of 1.38.22.
All the girls performed extremely well, demonstrating that Notre Dame is the school to beat in Surrey.
