Past Events
Over the last two years, FoND was fundraising for the fit-out of the new Montaigne Theatre, and has handed over in excess of £180,000 of funds towards this fantastic project. This has been a magnificent achievement. FoND could not have done this without the continued support and generosity of our wonderful parents!
Quiz Night

A great night was had by all! It was a good opportunity to meet old friends and make new ones. Ian Bond challenged us with interesting questions and the worthy winners were Quizmequick! Well done!
With thanks to the trusty duo Erica and Julie-Ann who organised this evening and of course a big thank you to Mr Ian Bond for compiling and presenting the evening.
Comedy Night

The popular Comedy Night returned with two hundred people entertained by stand up comedians from the London circuit with delicious food supplied by Mandy and her team. A huge thank you to Amanda Allen, Linda Grubic and Catherine Fox for once again staging such an enjoyable evenings entertainment.
Skiwear sale
Date: Thursday, 29th November 2012
A first for FoND! A successful skiwear sale was held in the Sports Hall, the brainchild of Penny Wakefield and Leigh O'Brien. Parents chose either to donate their nearly new skiwear or alternatively receive 60% of the profits with the remaining 40% going to FoND. Any unsold skiwear will be held in the Summer House for sale on Wednesdays bet 3.30pm and 4.30pm until the end of January.
Christmas Craft Fair

Once again our Sports Hall was filled for the day with 60 stalls offering a diverse range of goods which delighted the parents, girls, family and friends. £7950 was raised at this popular event!

Avorians Fireworks

Notre Dame supported this event last year which was so well received by parents that we were pleased to support them again this year. It was well attended with numbers up on last year. With a cut of the ticket sales going to FoND £455 was raised on the night!

Northbrook GiftWrap Fundraiser
Following on from the success of last year’s giftwrap fundraiser, Notre Dame revived this initiative again in 2012. Thanks to the parents support we raised £327 for FoND!

FoND Golf Day 2012
Date: Thursday, 20th September 2012
The Third Annual Notre Dame Golf Day was held at Wimbledon Park Golf Club and was kindly sponsored by our in-house caterers, Holroyd Howe.
Open to men and lady golfers. the course presented many challenges for all standards, and a good day was had by all. The weather and conditions were perfect. The winners were Stew Cook, James Chappell and Mark Roper-Drimie, who will be keen to retain their "crown" next year!

FoND Daddy & Daughter Camp Out

A hugely popular event enjoyed by over 200 happy campers each year! Everyone enjoyed a fish and chip supper around the camp fire, and a South African buffet breakfast when they woke up the next morning. This is a great way to get to know each other over a beer (or two)!

FoND Summer Fete - The Best of British

Thanks to everyone who came along to the Fete and for making the day a resounding success! Special thanks to those who helped organise rotas and manned both parent and staff led stalls, the office staff who are always so willing to help us out, despite having their own jobs to do, and not forgetting our maintenance team, without whom the whole set up of the fete could not take place. We raised £5,000 on the day, which will make a significant contribution to future projects for our favourite school! Have a wonderful summer everyone. FoND Comedy Night
Date: Saturday, 19 May 2012, 7pm – 11pm
Our very own Montaigne Theatre provided the venue for the first ever FoND Comedy Night, very ably hosted by Tom Price, featuring the authentic Scottish comedian Dougie Dunlop and the truly original Noise Next Door.
The audience comprising parents, teachers and sisters enjoyed an evening of belly laughs, occasionally at our own expense! All were in agreement that this refreshing form of entertainment must return!
A huge thank you to Mandy and her team for providing the excellent cuisine and to Peter, our ever present, ever helpful caretaker.
Sincere thanks must go to Amanda Allen, Catherine Fox and Linda Grubic who worked tirelessly to organise, promote and realise this ground breaking event!
Big Pink Disco (Prep School)

Christmas Craft & Gift Fair

Once again, the FoND Christmas Craft & Gift Fair offered visitors, parents, students and staff a wealth and variety of stalls to look at and enjoy. As always, a festive buzz filled the Sports Hall which was a hive of activity from the moment its doors opened.
Well done and congratulations to Kyrste Ferguson, Penny Wakefield, Penny Rose and Angela Taylor and their fabulous team for organising such an enjoyable and successful event.

The sun shone and despite a few early hitches (no coconuts, or generator for the rodeo bull!) everything went very smoothly largely due to all our wonderful helpers.
It was great to see so many of you (and your dogs) enjoying this community event, drinking Pimms, eating tex mex food and joining in all the games and activities.

Roaring Twenties Summer Party

Thank you to all of you who attended the fabulous Roaring Twenties Party on Saturday. As the photo gallery on the website shows, the evening was full of glitz and glamour. The Speakeasy bar did a brisk trade and the casino tables proved an irresistible draw, even for the Sisters! With table magic from Zac Tudor, a delicious meal from Holroyd Howe and plenty of dancing, the whole night was a huge success.
So many of you helped to bring this amazing event to fruition and we owe each one of you a huge debt of gratitude. In particular our thanks go to the Roaring Twenties Committee of Sarah Eze, Natalie Davies, Julie MacDonald, Helen Hamill and Vikki Scott, to Ronan Agnew for his auctioneering skills, Mark Cardwell of Echo Studios for the props and printing, and to Maria Long for the photography. Last, but not least, thank you to all those who helped to set up and clear away!
