Welcome to Notre Dame Senior School – I hope that you will find this website both useful and informative.

Notre Dame is a Catholic School which welcomes all faiths and cultures. We are supported by the Sisters of the Company of Mary Our Lady who ensure that the ethos of our foundress, St. Jeanne de Lestonnac, is maintained.

Notre Dame Senior School provides a caring environment in which each and every girl is given the opportunity to reach her full potential. We are a mixed-ability school which achieves outstanding results due to the quality of pastoral care, dedicated and committed teaching and hard work on the part of the girls.

This is confirmed by the excellent examination results achieved by the girls at both GCSE and A level.

We aim to provide a well-rounded education where girls can excel in sport, music, drama and other disciplines as well as their academic pursuits. An extensive extra-curricular programme is offered which includes the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, Young Enterprise and Community Service.
