Boys and girls are able to join our Nursery at any time after their second birthday, subject to spaces being available. Children typically join us at the beginning of a term or half term, with September being the preferred start date for the majority of our families. Children move seamlessly into our Prep School Reception Class in the September following their fourth birthday.
The Nursery Admissions Process
Closing date for September 2019 entry is 1st March 2019*
Your main contact for Nursery enquiries and admissions is our Admissions Manager, Mrs Natalie Foreman. Please feel free to contact her at any time if you have any questions - email firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone.
Your first step on the admissions journey is to visit our Nursery. Families often find it helpful to attend one of our Open Events in the first instance - please click on the 'Open Events' link on the menu to see the dates of forthcoming events and to pre-register. We hold an Early Years Funtime Event in May of each year and we invite children to come along to Meet Father Christmas And His Reindeer in December. All children up to the age of 5 are welcome to attend, along with siblings and family members.
You are also most welcome to contact our Admissions Manager, Mrs Natalie Foreman, to arrange a private tour of the Nursery with our Head of Early Years, Ms Melanie Lehman.
If you would like to proceed with an application, having visited our Nursery, we would ask you please to complete our registration form and return it to us with a fee of £50.
Notre Dame is a selective school and wherever possible we do like to meet all of our prospective children. All registered children will be invited in to the Nursery for a short and very informal visit prior to offers of places being made.
* Nursery registrations are welcome at any time of year. As our main entry point is September, we have a March closing date for those applying to join us in the following September. This closing date enables us to get all offers to parents before Easter. Applications received after this date are still most welcome and any offers will be made from April onwards, subject to spaces being available.
Accepting a Place, Deposit and Fees
To accept the offer of a place we would ask you please to complete and return the offer documents. A deposit of £600 will be required to secure the place. This deposit will be held as a credit against a pupil's final account.
Fees are payable termly in advance, by direct debit.
