This morning we celebrated Harvest with an uplifting Mass with music on the theme 'Growing'. This week, the senior school were able to present cheques for last year’s fundraising to representatives from the two chosen charities; Emma’s Bubble Trust and ODNS Cobham Outreach. We were delighted to welcome Children’s author Clara Vulliamy to school yesterday morning! Mrs Dunn talked to 9M1 about how you can use the Fibonacci sequence in finance. Parents returned to the classroom to Enjoy Read Write Inc Workshop with their children. Year two have been dressing up as Samuel Pepys and writing their own diaries using a quill and ink. Congratulations to Mia D (Year 7) who submitted an outstanding piece of homework from the new Year 7 homework menu to accompany the Year 7 scheme of work: An introduction to Shakespeare and ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’. Year 13 Biologists attended Nower Wood Nature Reserve in Leatherhead for a day of fieldwork. This allowed them to carry out techniques such as sampling with quadrats and transects. A free Get Into Medicine evening seminar at Westminster University on Monday 5th November, from 5pm to 7pm for Year 11 - 13 students and parents This week we are starting our fundraising efforts for the year with the Chaplaincy Team revealing our chosen charities.

Library In the Senior Library, we encourage students to read a wide range of non-fiction publications, including the First News magazine, which is the UK’s only national newspaper for young people. This year, we are delighted to have signed up again for the digital version – First News iHub, which will be introduced to Year 7 students after half term.
