The Prep recognised International Women’s Day today with a Reception-Year 6 assembly by Mrs Di Donato-Roos On Friday 1 March Year 12 and 13 biologists attended a day of stimulating lectures in London Our Year 13 historians attended a series of lectures in London on Mary I, Elizabeth I and Mary Queen of Scots. On Tuesday 5th March the Year 10, Year 11 and Sixth Form Drama and History students had the opportunity to go to the Globe Theatre in London. Reception had great fun celebrating Shrove Tuesday with a traditional pancake race. Four of our girls had art work selected to be displayed along the World Book Day Trail at Painshill Park this Sunday 10th March! We currently have 5 little ducklings and are just waiting for the last one to hatch! Independence is a big buzz in school and parenting circles. I have noticed that parents often feel pressure to prove how independent their children are, even as they hover over them, prompting their actions and ideas, and looking to successful goals achieved, arbitrary milestones reached or tasks managed to demonstrate their child’s independence. But is that independence? We would like to take this opportunity to remind you of the guidelines for dropping off pupils in the morning. With increasing concern for children's online safety, we have collected a series of parents tips in the form of posters and placed them onto Firefly!

Performing Arts Prep girls are busy rehearsing for the Spring Concert on Thursday 28th March at 7pm in the Montaigne Theatre. The next Faith & Music Assembly will be for 3B on Friday 15th March 9 - 9.30am in the chapel Senior Ensembles rehearsing for the Spring Concert to be held on Monday 25th March 6.30-7.30pm in the School Chapel Bravo to the cast & crew of the A2 performance of 'A Doll's House' and to Rosie for her Monologue ‘Beauty Queen of Leenane’
