Alumnae She did it! Just eleven years after leaving Notre Dame, Alumna Patsy Ferran has won the coveted Best Actress Olivier Award for her spellbinding performance as ‘Alma’ in ‘Summer and Smoke’, beating off competition from a strikingly strong list: I am one of thousands of researchers funded by the BHF. Just £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist like me, but every pound helps so I’d be so grateful if the Notre Dame community could help me reach my target.
