Happy 2022!

Prayer is central to school life, and in a Catholic school the Mass is the most important and complete form of prayer.  On Wednesday Mass was celebrated for all of the staff at the start of the new term, and then on Thursday, the feast of the Epiphany, Mass was celebrated for all of the Senior School.  This morning, Mass was celebrated for the Prep School.  This time last year none of these ‘start of term’ celebrations were possible; we are blessed that we have been able to organise them for the start of 2022.

Happy New Year 2022
Prep Mass Jan 2022

In the lead up to Christmas students and families were once again so generous in contributing gifts for our friends at Whiteley Village, and for recipients of Meals on Wheels.  It was lovely to open a letter on return to school this week, from one of the Meals on Wheels recipients who enjoyed one of the gifts:

To:  Notre Dame Senior School

May I thank you for the Christmas gifts beautifully presented to me at the Weybridge Community Centre.  These were packed and wrapped by the students, families and staff of your school.

In old age it is still gratifying to be able to open a present on Christmas Day and due to your concern and efforts this was possible in my case.

Regards and Best Wishes to you all.

The kindness and generosity of our students and families genuinely touches lives and changes them for the better.  Thank you.

God Bless,

Mr George, Chaplain
