Next week we will be celebrating the Harvest. It is a time for being especially grateful for all God’s gifts to us, and for being particularly mindful of those who do not have as much as we do.
From 11-15 October we will be collecting donations of items for Cobham Area Foodbank. Last year we managed to fill 34 crates – it would be wonderful if we could do the same again, knowing that it makes a real difference to the lives of people in our local area.
The items most needed by the Foodbank are:
Tinned meat UHT fruit juice 1 litre
Pasta sauce Tinned vegetables (not pulses please)
UHT semi-skimmed milk 1 litre Large instant coffee
Tomato ketchup Shampoo
Washing up liquid Tinned potatoes
Fruit squash Tinned custard
Tinned rice pudding Tinned fruit
Chocolate spread Soap bars
Please do not send in any fresh items, or any items past their best before dates, as these cannot be distributed by the Foodbank.
Thank you very much in anticipation of your support.
