To celebrate Cultural Diversity Day on 21st May, the Nursery and Prep school were invited to come to school in their cultural dress. The day started with an assembly led by some Year 5 girls where they learnt about the topic and were able to see just how diverse we are as a school looking at the huge number of girls that decided to participate in the day.
At first break, Mrs Kewley and Miss Winnicott shared some stories with the girls and at last break I was making paper wristbands with the girls.
The stunning start of the day was Mrs Salisbury wearing her kimono, she went above and beyond and looked beautiful!
It was a fabulous day and lovely to learn about so many backgrounds within the school.
