Flexible Approach For
Modern Families
We offer Term-Time and Term-Time + options to offer parents a flexible approach to Nursery that works for modern family lifestyles. What this means is that you can opt for your child to attend nursery either term-time only or during the holidays too, which we call Term-Time+. Term-Time + sessions are available either individually or for the entirety of the school holidays.

Our littlest children play a full and active role in school life at Notre Dame, they get to use all the wonderful sports facilities, theatre and swimming pool and join in celebrations and key events in the school calendar. We aim to make the transition from home to Pre-School to fulltime school a happy one for the whole family and we know our children will leave Pre-School as happy, confident and curious young learners ready to take the next step.
Enrichment
Notre Dame is set on 26 acres of beautiful countryside, that our youngest children enjoy all year round. From our weekly outdoor learning experiences at Forest School to our adventure playground and treehouse. Our extensive outdoor space also allows for sport and outdoor play as well as giving us the opportunity to offer a variety of activities that cover all of the seven areas of learning.
Our Early Years curriculum benefits from all the co-curricular on offer in our Prep School from specialist staff, such as Music, Drama and Sport. Our older Pre-School children learn Spanish, how to swim in our indoor, heated pool, take part in rugby tots, library visits and dance sessions. These specialist lessons enrich the children’s learning and also make the transition into Reception seamless.
Forest School
Children have the opportunity to take part in Forest School sessions once a week. This is a woodland-based learning environment which gives our younger children the chance to explore and learn in our wonderful grounds.
At Notre Dame Forest School our aim is to build on the children’s motivation and positive attitude to learning. We want our pupils to engage with the outdoors and foster a love, respect, understanding and responsibility for our environment. Our pupils are offered opportunities through practical activities, to take beneficial risks whilst building on their decision-making, creative-thinking and problem-solving skills.
During our Forest School sessions the children continue to cover all of the areas of learning within our enhanced curriculum. They play outside in woodlands, take part in child-led initiated activities, listen to stories, sing songs and explore.
