On Monday Fr Stephen came to school to celebrate Mass in thanksgiving for the recent First Holy Communions of three of our Year 3 pupils. It was most appropriate that this Mass was celebrated the day after the Church’s great feast of The Body and Blood of Christ.
The recent First Holy Communicants read beautifully during Mass, and the Year 5 pupils aided our prayer and reflection by singing a beautiful cantata that they had written and composed themselves, with Mrs Shaw. We prayed for God’s blessing on our First Holy Communicants and on their families, at this special time in their lives and always.
