Year 4 Maths Club – Time

In Mrs Kinghorn’s Maths Club this week, the girls were looking at time on a 12- and 24-hour clock.

We went outside where we drew some large clocks using chalk.  The girls then labelled the 12 hour times and then added the 24 hour times.  We then challenged our young learners to show the time on a 12 hour clock and convert this to a 24 hour time (the girls used sticks for the hour and minute hands).

Although a little chilly, it was a great activity.
