District Athletics Competition

Congratulations to all the girls in Years 7-10 who competed in the District Athletics competition at The Spectrum on Wednesday this week. It was an excellent day of competition and the girls should feel proud of their achievements, with many of them being well placed in their events and reaching track finals.

In the overall results Notre Dame were placed as follows in the individual age groups:

·         Year 7 ‘A’ – 5th, Year 7 ‘B’ – 12th

·         Year 8 ‘A’ – 7th, Year 8 ‘B’ – 6th

·         Year 9 ‘A’ – 7th, Year 9 ‘B’ – 8th

·         Year 10 ‘A’ – 5th

Acro-Gymnastics

Chloe B - Acro-Gymnastics in Valencia 2022

A big congratulations to Chloe B (Year 11) who continues to excel in her sport of acro-gymnastics. Having taken part in the World age-group championships in Baku, Azerbaijan last term, more recently, Chloe and her team mates were in Valencia over the Easter break competing in the International Acro Cup where they picked up a fantastic silver medal. Chloe and her team mates also achieved gold at the British regionals.

Swimming

Guildford City Swimmimg – Emily & Ciara placed 14th & 15th at the South East Regional Championships today, both with excellent PBs.

Ciara 50m free – PB

They were delighted to participate in such a high level competition and are very pleased with their times.
