Forest School September 23rd

We did a Forest bathing experience today and the girls observed what was heard, seen, smelt and felt in the Forest. There was super teamwork with planting herbs in the planters and watering them, gaining more familiarity in the recognition of Rosemary, Basil, Coriander and Thyme. The girls practiced sawing a wood slice with increasing precision following the safety rules and enjoyed feeling the texture of the sawdust created. The girls also enjoyed role-play with the resources available to them in the woodland.
