Alumnae Olivia Devenport and Alicia Walden couldn’t resist sneaking a peek at the school photographs lining the corridors when they visited recently to speak at the ND6 Open Afternoon.
On their way back to reception after their inspiring address to Year 11, the pair were thrilled to discover the whole school photo taken in 2018 – and it didn’t take long for them to find their (then) 14-year-old selves! Alicia also discovered herself in the tableau illustrating St Jeanne’s entreaty to ‘keep friendship among you’ outside the dining room!
The girls are now 21 and what a difference seven years makes – since the photo was taken, they’ve aced their A levels and gone on to forge exciting futures. Olivia is now a Senior Data Protection and Privacy Analyst at London auction firm Christie’s, and Alicia, who recently graduated from King’s College with a degree in Liberal Arts, is targeting a career in the diplomatic service.
With a Notre Dame education behind them, we’re sure they have an exciting future ahead and we’ll be cheering them on every step of the way.
