Prep Science - Y5 Bubbles

Brilliant Bubbles with Year 5 Explorers!

Year 5 Explorers have been getting creative and having a blast making bubbles using recycled materials! With odd socks and plastic bottles in hand, they turned everyday items into fantastic bubble blowers. It was a joyful, hands-on activity that combined science, sustainability, and plenty of giggles!

Year 6 Dive into Digestion!

Year 6 had a fascinating science lesson exploring the digestive system and how our bodies absorb water and nutrients.

The highlight was using Virtual T-shirts, which brought the topic to life in an interactive and exciting way. The girls loved visualising how food is broken down and nutrients are absorbed—making science both educational and fun!

Plants Are All Around Us!

In these final two weeks of the school year, our budding botanists have been diving into the fascinating world of plants.

Year 1 have been learning all about edible plants, carefully planting and observing cress and radish seeds as they begin to grow.

Meanwhile, in Upper Juniors, Year 4 and Year 5 have been busy dissecting lilies and alstroemerias to explore how plants reproduce.

A blooming brilliant way to round off the term with hands-on science and discovery!
