On Thursday 18th September, Year 13 students were treated to an unforgettable theatre experience, courtesy of the History Department, with a trip to see Six, the hit British musical comedy by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss.
Six is a vibrant, modern retelling of the lives of Henry VIII’s six wives, presented as a high-energy pop concert. Each queen takes centre stage to share her story, competing to determine who endured the most hardship, but ultimately, they unite to reclaim their voices and rewrite history.
Originally debuting at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2017, Six has since taken the world by storm, with acclaimed runs in the West End, Broadway, and beyond, earning numerous awards and accolades.
The girls thoroughly enjoyed the performance and were excellent ambassadors for the school throughout the trip.
