Key Stage 4 Students Shine at Model United Nations Conference
On Saturday 15th November, Miss Fowler and Mrs Best accompanied ten enthusiastic Key Stage 4 students to a Model United Nations (MUN) conference at The Royal Grammar School. Representing a diverse range of countries, our students engaged in lively debates on pressing global issues alongside peers from other schools.
Throughout the day, delegates delivered persuasive speeches, lobbied for their viewpoints, negotiated amendments, and collaborated on solutions to topics such as climate action, human rights, and international security.
Special recognition goes to Alex and Salma, who impressed by drafting and presenting well crafted resolutions. Every student contributed to discussions, demonstrating confidence and commitment.
The event provided an invaluable opportunity for students to develop communication, critical thinking, and leadership skills, while connecting with like minded peers from across the region. It was a day of learning, diplomacy, and teamwork.
Well done to all involved!
