A Level History Lecture Day

Sixth Form history Lectures in London

Inspirational lectures delivered by leading historians

History often poses a fundamental question: is it driven by individuals—their decisions, ambitions, and flaws—or by larger structures such as political systems, economic forces, and social norms? This debate was brought to life during our Sixth Form’s recent trip to watch historians deliver German history lectures.

Experiences like this give our students an opportunity to listen to experts in their field which they can then refer to in their university personal statements. It also offers them a real insight into how lectures are delivered at university.

Our History students couldn’t resist an opportunity to have their picture taken with Sir Richard J Evans author of ‘The Third Reich Trilogy’
