Blood Brothers Workshop

Year 10 and Year 11 Drama Students Inspired by Workshop with Andrew Wadsworth

This afternoon we were delighted to welcome Andrew Wadsworth to the Montaigne Theatre, where he led a series of inspiring drama workshops for our Year 10 and Year 11 Drama students.

Andrew has an extensive professional career, having performed in numerous acclaimed productions including Sweeney Todd, Guys and Dolls, and most notably originating the role of Eddie in Blood Brothers.

Students were captivated as he shared fascinating insights into how the original production of Blood Brothers was staged, alongside valuable guidance on performance skills and the realities of working in the acting industry. His expertise offered a unique and enriching learning experience that will undoubtedly support the girls as they prepare for their GCSE Drama exam.

Adding to the excitement of the day, Andrew is also the father of our LAMDA teacher, Mrs Wadsworth Brown, making the visit even more special for our school community.

A huge thank you to Andrew for an inspiring afternoon in the theatre!
