Celebrating the Feast of the Presentation of the Child Mary
This morning, our school community gathered to celebrate one of the most special days in our calendar, the Feast of the Presentation of the Child Mary in the Temple. This tradition dates back to 1610, when St Jeanne chose this feast day for the children of the first school of the Company of Mary Our Lady. For more than 400 years, schools across the world have continued to honour this day.
Just as on that very first celebration, the highlight of the feast was Mass, the highest and greatest liturgy of the Church. Our Mass was beautifully accompanied by the Staff, Prep and Senior choirs, along with the Senior Chamber Orchestra, creating a truly uplifting experience.
During Mass, a special video presentation featured the Official Catholic Hymn of Jubilee 2025, beautifully sung by pupils from Company of Mary Our Lady Schools and Communities across the globe.

After Mass, the girls enjoyed a special treat, Feast Day cookies, lovingly prepared by Mandy and her team. It was a wonderful day of faith, music, and community spirit.
