Owls at Forest School

Fine motor skills were developing as pupils created cereal bird feeders, which were later placed on branches to help support local wildlife. Wise Owls also took part in an exciting scavenger hunt in the woodland, discovering everything from ancient trees to a wide variety of plant species.

✨Reception Forest School News: Winter Magical Moments ✨

Our Winter Forest School session was filled with magical moments as the girls embraced the great outdoors with enthusiasm and creativity. From imaginative mud kitchen play to carefully tidying and adding new touches to the fairy garden, the woodland was alive with teamwork and wonder.

The girls also developed their fine motor skills as they practiced threading and knot-tying with growing independence while creating their own bird feeders. Their confidence and collaboration shone through every step of the way.

A wonderful effort from everyone — well done, girls! 🌿❄️
