Infant Good Work Assembly March 9th

Infant Good Work Assembly

🌼 Infant Assembly – Celebrating Mother’s Day

Infant Assembly - Mother's Day

This weeks Infant Assembly focused on the lovely theme of Mother’s Day. Mrs Botham led the children through a thoughtful exploration of what this special day is all about.

She explained how Mother’s Day is celebrated, highlighting the different ways people choose to show appreciation through cards, gifts, flowers, or acts of kindness. The children also learned when Mother’s Day is celebrated and discovered when the tradition first began.

Mrs Botham spoke about Mother’s Day gifts, the connection between Mother’s Day and the church, and shared some interesting facts about how Mother’s Day is marked around the world, showing the children that while traditions may vary, the message of love and gratitude remains the same.

To end the assembly, she encouraged the children to take a quiet moment and reflect:

  • Think about your mum or the special women in your life.
  • Think about how you can show them how much you love them and how thankful you are for them.
  • It was a heartfelt assembly that inspired the children to appreciate the wonderful people who care for them every day.

Congratulations to this week’s Stars of the Week and winner of the ‘Living Life To The Full’ Certificate.
