Celebrating Our School Family
This week’s Infant assembly marked a heartwarming start to the academic year at Notre Dame, with a focus on the theme: Being Part of the Notre Dame Family.
Miss Harris warmly welcomed everyone to the first assembly of the year and shared the touching story ‘Our Class is a Family’ by Shannon Olsen, beautifully illustrated by Sandie Sonke. The story reminded pupils that at Notre Dame, we are more than just classmates, we are a family that looks out for one another.
To finish, Miss Harris led a lively “Stand Up If… Kindness Game,” celebrating the many acts of kindness already happening across the school. It was a joyful reminder of the caring and supportive community we’re all part of.
