This week’s Library Corner features: First News Engage Pro
In the Senior Library we encourage students to read a wide range of publications – including the First News magazine. Each year we sign up to the digital platform – First News Engage Pro, which was specifically for Year 7 students, but it is now also available for Year 8 (using different difficulty levels). Students in the latter part of their Library lessons have the opportunity to do comprehensions, word puzzles and writing challenges based on First News stories and take part in topical debates and polls. The articles cover many different subjects such as nature, world and home news, politics, science, sport and entertainment.
