🌾 Infant Assembly: World Tolerance Day 2025
This week’s Infant Assembly focused on World Tolerance Day, a special occasion to reflect on kindness, inclusion, and celebrating differences.
Miss Harris introduced the topic by sharing three important reminders:
- A special day to think about being kind
- A day to remember to welcome everyone
- A day to celebrate our differences
She then asked the children: What is tolerance?
Together, they explored ideas such as:
- Accepting others
- Letting others join in
- Being kind to people who are different
- Making sure no one is left out
To bring the message to life, Miss Harris read the beautiful story “The BIG Umbrella”, which perfectly illustrated the importance of making space for everyone.
She concluded with a powerful thought:
Our School Umbrella
Our school should make room for everyone
We welcome new people
We are kind and fair
Congratulations to this week’s Stars of the Week and winner of the ‘Living Life To The Full’ Certificate.
Happy Birthday Lottie and Matilda!
