International Welcome at Our School
This morning, we were delighted to welcome students from Compañía de María, Buenos Aires. To mark the occasion, Sofia B-R welcomed them in Spanish and the rest of the girls from Years 1 and 2 prepared a wonderful welcome by singing a Spanish song they have been learning in their Spanish lessons.
Our visitors were visibly touched by the thoughtful performance and happily joined in with the actions of this familiar song. It was a lovely moment of shared language and culture and a perfect example of the strength of our international community.
Many thanks to Mrs Barnes for helping to prepare the girls for this special occasion, and to Mrs Macdonald for teaching them the words.
The visiting students then enjoyed a full day immersed in life at our Senior School, joining lessons and activities throughout the day. Experiences like these create meaningful connections and lasting memories for everyone involved.
