ND6 Christmas Ski Trip

Before the Christmas break, our Sixth Form students travelled to Alpe d’Huez for an unforgettable five-day ski trip, enjoying stunning conditions and memorable experiences both on and off the slopes. Blessed with bluebird skies throughout the week, students made the most of the resort’s extensive terrain, with brilliant snow and great skiing for all abilities.

From confident beginners mastering their first turns to experienced skiers tackling more challenging runs, the progress made over the five days was for all. Nicknamed the sunshine village, Alpes d’Huez provided stunning alpine scenery and clear sunshine, giving the best backdrop for a fantastic week filled with energy and memories made. Whether it was the leisurely start at breakfast with made to order crepes, taking the plunge in the outdoor pool for a night swim or being crowned the quiz master champs, off the slopes added just as much enjoyment to the trip as on the slopes.

The trip was a huge success, and the Sixth Form students outdid themselves with their everlasting smiles and enthusiasm, even with a slight delay flying out, courtesy of BA. A massive thank you also goes to the staff who made the trip possible.
