Year 8 Rowing Session at Molesey Boat Club

The Year 8 girls enjoyed a wonderful and inspiring session at Molesey Boat Club, where they were introduced to rowing in a supportive and professional club environment. The girls were coached by experienced instructors and embraced the opportunity with enthusiasm, learning new skills and gaining confidence both on and off the water.

It was a fantastic start to the Notre Dame rowing journey, with pupils showing great teamwork, focus, and willingness to challenge themselves. The experience was thoroughly enjoyed by all and provided an exciting insight into what rowing has to offer.
We very much hope to be able to offer this opportunity more widely in the future, so please do keep an eye on your inboxes for further information.

Surrey came second overall in the age group, with Leah’s performance contributing to the result.

Hockey

U14 Hockey v Prior’s Field

On Wednesday the U14 Hockey Team had a match against Prior’s Field School. ND played well from the start and put Prior’s Field under pressure with some good attacking play but at half time it was still goalless.

The second half saw solid defending from ND, good creative play in midfield and some good attacks from the forwards; persistence paid off and a goal from Olivia K proved to be the winner with ND securing a 1-0 win in a competitive and enjoyable game, well played to the whole squad.

Players of the match were Olivia K and Lexi H.

Team: Molly T-N, Alice H, Lexi H, Talia A, Amelia H, Lexi M, Poppy H, Lilah W, Maya L, Lottie W, Olivia K, Georgia R, Lily P
