Year 8 Explore River Processes in Hands-On Geography Lesson

YEar 8 Geography - Innovation Lab

Year 8 students thoroughly enjoyed an engaging Geography lesson enhanced by resources from the Innovation Space. Using a hose to simulate river flow, pupils demonstrated how erosion shapes a meander and leads to the formation of an oxbow lake.

This practical, interactive activity reinforced their classroom learning and equipped students with the understanding needed to return to their lesson and create detailed, annotated diagrams in their books.

A memorable and effective way to bring river processes to life!
