Year 9 Titanic Inquiry

Year 9 have been studying the Titanic this term and have been investigating who was most to blame for the tragic loss of nearly 1,500 lives.

Recently, one Year 9 class visited the Innovation Centre to take part in a Board of Inquiry role-play based on the disaster.

The students were incredibly impressive on the witness stand. They confidently presented their evidence to the courtroom and responded to the questions under considerable pressure.

After hearing all the testimony, the jury concluded that Bruce Ismay, owner of the White Star Line, bore the greatest responsibility for the tragedy.
