TERM TIME AND ALL YEAR ROUND PROVISION
At Notre Dame our philosophy is to offer the highest quality Pre-School Education for all our pupils to enable them to flourish socially, physically and educationally.

Our dedicated, qualified and nurturing team create a home-from-home atmosphere ensuring every child is treated with care, love and compassion in a well-equipped, well-maintained, safe and secure environment. Our littlest children play a full and active role in school life at Notre Dame, they get to use all the wonderful sports facilities, theatre and swimming pool and join in celebrations and key events in the school calendar. We aim to make the transition from home to Pre-School to fulltime school a happy one for the whole family and we know our children will leave Pre-School as happy, confident and curious young learners ready to take the next step.
We are so fortunate here at Notre Dame to be situated within 26 acres of beautiful parkland, that the children in Pre-School Nursery are indeed woodland explorers and all children enjoy a weekly outdoor learning experience at Forest School. We also have a stunning tree house to play in as well as the adventure playground. Our extensive outdoor space allows for sport and outdoor play as well as giving us the opportunity to offer a variety of activities that cover all of the seven areas of learning.
The Early Years curriculum is further enhanced with lessons from specialist teachers, such as music and P.E. The older Pre-School children are able to benefit from Spanish, swimming, rugby, library visits and dance. These specialist lessons enrich the children’s learning and also make the transition into Reception seamless. We support the boys at this stage in their transition to Reception classes at other local schools.
