Attendance Options
To support our working families the Pre-School Nursery is open YEAR ROUND for 2-4 year olds for 48 weeks a year from 7.30am - 6.00pm Monday to Friday.
Families are able to opt for Term Time Only or Term Time Plus (which enables them to book individual days during the school holidays or full school holidays). These options are available to all our Nursery and Reception families.

Pre-School Nursery During Term Time
During term-time, we follow our own enhanced Early Years Curriculum, which is implemented through planned, purposeful play and through a mix of adult-led and child-initiated activities.
The Pre-School is an integral part of the Prep School and, during term-time, the children will continue to make use of all the wonderful facilities the school has to offer. Pre-School children enjoy the swimming pool, all weather sports facilities, sports hall, music room and library. They also participate in music, dance and Spanish lessons as well as weekly visits to Forest School.
Term Time Plus
In addition to term time provision, during the school holidays the Pre-School staff will offer an exciting and stimulating range of specially designed topic-based activities. The learning offered will be age and stage appropriate consolidation – this will ensure that the children continue their development but that no child misses out if they do not attend Pre-School during the holidays.
We know that not everyone will need or want to make a full-time commitment to our Pre-School on an all year round basis but the school holidays can be long especially for our Pre-School Nursery and Reception children and therefore we will be offering a facility for parents who opt for term-time only to pre-book available sessions during the holidays.
Our in-house catering company – Holroyd Howe, provide delicious and nutritious meals, all year round.
Funding
Our year-round Pre-School offers Funded Early Education (FEE) which enables parents to access 15 or 30 hours of funded early education per week from the term after a child turns 3-years-old until the end of Pre-School Nursery. See more information below.
