Year 5 Girls Shine in Innovation Space Movie Project
Over the past few weeks, some of our Year 5 girls have had the exciting opportunity to work in the Innovation Space, where they designed and produced their very own short films. This new initiative, led by Mr. Craig Munt, our Senior School STEM Coordinator, introduced the students to the creative possibilities of digital storytelling.
Using the Green Room and a range of digital tools, the girls selected their own backgrounds, chose music, and choreographed dances to bring their ideas to life. The project was a wonderful blend of technology, movement, and imagination—and the girls had a fantastic time exploring it all!
We’re delighted to share that the finished movies will be available to view on Firefly before the holiday, and a special selection will be showcased during our end-of-term assembly for the whole school to enjoy.
Mr Munt will be running further sessions in the Innovation Space to enable more Year 5 budding ‘movie makers’ to enjoy this fantastic facility!
