From School Trip to Star Bakers: A Delicious Day at Bread Ahead

Our recent Food and Nutrition school trip turned into a full-on Bake Off experience as students rolled up their sleeves and got hands-on in the kitchen at Bread Ahead.

The highlight of the day? Crafting our very own lemon meringue pies from scratch. From blind baking the pastry to whipping and piping the perfect meringue peaks, every step gave us a taste of life as a professional pastry chef.

It was a fun, flavourful, and educational experience—one that left us with new skills, sweet treats, and a whole lot of pride in our creations!
