New Beginnings
5F kicked off the assembly season with a theme of ‘New Beginnings’!
After a lively dance into the chapel with the aid of KPop Demon Hunters, we began by talking about how important it is to look back and see just how far we had come, whilst looking very much forward to the future.
We discussed how school is a place where we are supported to be the best versions of ourselves, and in a world where we can be anything, we are reminded to be kind. We reflected on Mrs Morgan’s message of trying to do just that little bit better every day, climbing the mountain of life together and helping each other along the way.
We thoroughly enjoyed our last dance to Miley Cyrus’s “The Climb”, before a rousing rendition of The Ascension hymn.
Thank you 5F, for all your efforts and hard work with this assembly – it’s tough to be the first, but you smashed it: I’m so proud of you all! Thank you to Mrs Davies for her kindness and help, and to Mrs Cesar for some brilliant dance routines!
