Sports Posts Santa Splash Swimming Event 2025

Santa Splash Swimming Event

The festive spirit was in full flow at our Santa Splash swimming event, where pupils from Years 3, 4, 5, and 6 took to the pool for an afternoon of fun and friendly competition. This was our final fixture of the term, and what a way to finish!

The girls showed fantastic effort and determination throughout, with plenty of cheering and smiles all around. We were thrilled to see some excellent performances, resulting in first, second, and third-place finishes across various races. Every swimmer contributed to the excitement and made the event a memorable one.

A special mention goes to Winnie from Year 2, who bravely stepped up to join the Year 3 team and did an amazing job—what a star!

Thank you to everyone who took part and supported the event. It was a brilliant afternoon that showcased teamwork, resilience, and festive fun. We can’t wait to dive into more swimming success in the new term!

Prep School Sports Report – Autumn Term

This Autumn term has been an action-packed and exciting season for Prep School sport, with pupils demonstrating fantastic commitment, teamwork, and enthusiasm across a wide range of activities.

Hockey

We have had an incredible 59 hockey fixtures, spanning Year 3 to Year 6. The pupils have shown great determination and skill throughout the term. A special congratulations to the U10 Girls, who achieved an outstanding 3rd place in the Surrey Plate Tournament – a fantastic result that reflects their hard work and dedication.

Gymnastics

Our gymnastics squad has had a busy and successful term, attending two National competitions – IAPS and ISGA – as well as a local event at Priorsfield. A highlight was hosting our first schools gymnastics event at Notre Dame, which was a wonderful opportunity to showcase talent and foster community spirit.

Swimming

Swimming has continued to thrive, with four galas taking place both at home and away. These events provided excellent opportunities for our swimmers to compete and improve their skills in a supportive environment. We look forward to the ESSA and IAPS events next term.

Cross Country

We participated in a Cross Country event at Priorsfield, where our runners displayed resilience and determination on a challenging course.

Netball

Our younger pupils also had their moment to shine, with Year 2 playing their first fixture against Rowan. It was fantastic to see their enthusiasm and teamwork on the court.

Biathlon

Finally, we were proud to attend the National Schools Biathlon Qualifier, giving our athletes the chance to compete at a high level and experience a multi-disciplinary event. We hope to have pupils attend the National Finals in March 2026.
