I am delighted to inform you that Notre Dame’s SingSPACE choir has been accepted to perform at ChoirBLAST again this year on Saturday 13 June. This popular outdoor festival is a great trip for all the family with over 70 choirs performing in venues across Godalming. ChoirBLAST
We are opening this trip up to singers in Year 7 and 8 who would like to go. Some Year 7 girls may have enjoyed the trip last year. There is no cost for this trip, but in order to come singers will need to:
• attend rehearsals with SingSPACE on Wednesdays from 4:15pm to 5pm until the festival
• purchase a SingSPACE t-shirt if they do not have one already that fits them. This will be at a cost of £12.47 to be added to your school bill
• provide the rest of the uniform – Notre Dame PE leggings, black or navy socks and trainers
Anyone in Year 7 – 8 is welcome to sing with SingSPACE and come on these two trips. If you wish your daughter to attend then she must have been singing with SingSPACE and coming to rehearsals regularly from the start of the summer term.
Spaces are limited, and if more girls apply than we have space for, applicants will be given a friendly, 5-minute inclusive audition with Mrs Shaw. They may sing a verse and a chorus from any song of their choice.
I would be very grateful if you could please complete the SAVE A PLACE form sent out by SchoolPost this week, to enable us to confirm numbers with the organisers. Completion will mean that you are committed to the event. Full permission forms with details will be sent out nearer the time. Rehearsals for SingSPACE are on Wednesdays from 4pm to 5pm.
