U10 Match Report – Notre Dame vs HSA
The Notre Dame U10 squads enjoyed a fantastic afternoon of cricket on Tuesday as both the A and B teams took on HSA in a pair of competitive and spirited fixtures.
A & B Team Matches vs HSA
Across both games, the girls demonstrated excellent progress, combining strong teamwork with growing confidence at the crease and in the field. The matches were played in great spirit, with plenty of competitive moments that kept players and spectators engaged throughout.
There were some standout batting performances, with several players showing increasing composure, rotating the strike well, and capitalising on scoring opportunities. In the field, energy levels were high, with improved communication and awareness leading to key stops and run-saving efforts.
Bowling was another highlight, with good accuracy on display and an increasing understanding of line and length. A number of wickets were taken across both games, reflecting the hard work put in during training.
Most importantly, both teams played with great enthusiasm and sportsmanship, supporting one another and demonstrating a real love for the game. These competitive matches against HSA provided valuable experience and a clear reflection of the girls’ ongoing development.
C & D Team Internal Match
Meanwhile, the C and D teams played an internal match, which proved to be a highly beneficial learning opportunity. The focus was firmly on developing core skills, match awareness, and confidence in a game setting.
Players showed excellent effort in applying what they have been working on in training, particularly in decision-making, positioning, and understanding the flow of a game. The match provided plenty of opportunities for all players to be involved, helping to build both skill level and game understanding.
Overall
It was a wonderful afternoon of cricket for all squads, with clear progress evident across every team. The positive attitude, teamwork, and commitment on show are a real credit to the players.
Well done to all involved!
