Year 1 Outdoor Learning – Bees

Year 1 learnt all about bees in our Outdoor Learning session this week.

We learnt about their habitat, how they collect nectar and pollinate flowers and make honey. We also learnt about the special dance they do to give directions to other bees to find flowers. We then made our own bees. As we were making them a real bee landed on Mrs Barnes’ leg! Thank you to Mrs Ford for joining us this week.
