In our Prep School Celebration of the Word assemblies this week we have been reflecting on the greatest truth revealed by Jesus and read within the Gospel last Sunday, the solemnity of the Holy Trinity:
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. (John 3:16-17)
The greatest truth is that God loves us. God loves you and God loves me. There is nothing or no-one that God loves more than He loves you. You are precious in the eyes of God, and are loved beyond measure.
