SingSPACE Choir had a blast last Saturday singing at the CHoirBLAST festival in Godalming.
An inclusive, non-competitive contemporary choral festival spanning venues across Godalming, ChoirBLAST is more than just our annual festival, it’s a community passionate about bringing the joy of harmony singing to all.
Situated on the Deli Stage just off Godalming High Street, and with beautiful summer weather, SingSPACE drew crowds from the deli customers and high street shoppers as well as our contingent of proud parents. All were entertained with such popular numbers as ‘Top of the World’ by Imagine Dragons and ‘This is Me’ from The Greatest Showman, as well as a unique composition ‘Foundation Stone’ by friend of the school and local composer Charles Elstub.
It was great to give the SingSPACE t-shirts an outing and the choir looked fantastic with their vibrant logos and yellow ribbons.
The enjoyment of the singing was enormous, both the singers and the audience loved the event and we really hope to be back next year.
The performances were filmed and can be seen, together with a Photo gallery, on Firefly by clicking on the link below:
