Senior Prize Giving Celebrates a Year of Achievement and Success
The end of the academic year was marked in style as pupils, staff, families, and governors came together for our annual Senior Prize Giving celebrations. Held in the Theatre, the event provided a wonderful opportunity to reflect on another exceptional year and recognise the many achievements of our students.
This year, two ceremonies were held, with Years 7–9 celebrating in the morning and Years 10–13 gathering later in the day. Both events highlighted the remarkable accomplishments, dedication, and talents demonstrated by pupils across the school throughout the year.
Mrs King welcomed guests and reflected on the many memorable moments that have shaped the school year. From academic excellence and sporting success to creative performances, charitable initiatives, leadership opportunities, and co-curricular achievements, the breadth of opportunities embraced by our pupils was truly inspiring.
Prize winners were recognised across a range of subjects and categories, celebrating not only outstanding attainment but also perseverance, commitment, progress, and contribution to school life. Congratulations to all those who received awards; each should be immensely proud of their achievements.
The ceremonies were further enhanced by a series of beautiful musical performances, showcasing the exceptional talent, confidence, and passion of our students. These memorable performances added a special touch to the celebrations and were enjoyed by all in attendance.
Following the ceremonies, guests gathered on the Terrace to enjoy refreshments and conversation in the summer sunshine. It was a lovely opportunity for families, staff, and students to celebrate together, reflect on the year’s successes, and look ahead to the exciting opportunities that await.
