Merinda D’Aprano was Teacher at Notre Dame for 23 years, and Head from 2013 until the end of 2018, when she completed her first 35 years in teaching. During this time she was an ISI Inspector, a CISC Mentor for aspiring school leaders and latterly an IAPS mentor for new Heads. She now works as an educational consultant and mentor, church and folk musician, lyricist and spiritual director. Merinda is an experienced Governor and Trustee, working with another religious educative Order. She is a keen cook, gardener, published writer and poet, and a keen artist. Merinda fills any remaining free time with friends, reading for the monthly book club she organises, or just sitting under her cats.
