This morning, Fr Daryl visited our school to celebrate a special Mass in honour of the First Holy Communions recently received by four of our girls. It was a joyful and prayerful occasion, bringing our school community together to give thanks for this important step in their faith journey.
The First Holy Communicants took part beautifully in the Mass, reading with confidence and reverence. The Year 5 pupils enhanced our worship through a moving cantata, which they had thoughtfully written and composed themselves with Mrs Shaw, helping us all to reflect more deeply on the significance of the Eucharist.
After Mass, the girls were invited to join their families for a light lunch on the terrace, providing a lovely opportunity to celebrate together.
We kept our First Holy Communicants and their families in our prayers, asking for God’s continued blessings upon them at this special time and in the years to come.
