🌼 Infant Assembly – St Patrick’s Day
This week’s Infant Assembly was all about St Patrick’s Day. Mrs Hunt introduced the topic by asking the children who St Patrick was, explaining that he is the patron saint of Ireland and is known for bringing Christianity to the country.
She then shared his amazing story, guiding the children through key moments in his life. The assembly continued with a look at when St Patrick’s Day is celebrated, where it is marked around the world, and the different ways people celebrate, including Irish music and traditional Irish food.
To finish, Mrs Hunt showed the children a picture of a shamrock, the well known symbol associated with St Patrick and Irish heritage.
Congratulations to this week’s Stars of the Week and winner of the ‘Living Life To The Full’ Certificate.
Happy Birthday Maya and Penelope
