U8 and U9 Cricket v Manor House

On Tuesday afternoon a Year 3 and Year 4 team played cricket against Manor House. This was their first cricket match of the year and they all played brilliantly. Some great show of bowling, batting and fielding skills from all girls.

The girls enjoyed a great session with Avorians Cricket Coach Jon this week. They worked on their fielding skills!

All of Year 4 played Rowan in a cricket match on Thursday afternoon and similarly to Monday they showed great skills in bowling, batting and fielding. It has been lovely to see the girls back playing competitive sport and in the sunshine!

U11 A-D Netball v LEH

On Wednesday our U11A-D netball teams played in their first netball match of the year against LEH. Very unusual to be playing at this time of year but wonderful that they got to play as we have missed out on so much netball. The girls had a wonderful afternoon with some great skills on show. Great fun was had by all.

After School clubs

The girls are enjoying a variety of sports at after school sports clubs this half term. This week they havebeen playing golf and netball!

Sun-cream/ Hats/ water bottles

The weather is due to remain very warm and, therefore, can I please remind you of the following; 

1) Your daughter will need a refillable water bottle every day and she should bring this to her PE lesson. 

2) Please make sure there is named sun cream in her bag for her to apply throughout the day.

3) The girls are welcome to wear appropriate hats/ caps during PE lessons.
