West Surrey Prep Schools Athletics Competition 2023

Well done to the 12 girls from Year 5 and 6 who represented the school in the West Surrey Athletics event on Tuesday. This was the first time we have entered the WSA. This event acts as a qualification round for the National Prep School Event being held in July. The Year 5 girls were unable to qualify this year but still competed to win medals and have gained valuable experience for next year.

The year 6 girls competed against tough competition, with 31 schools taking part. Well done to the whole team but a very special well done to Holly who has qualified for nationals in the U12 70m Hurdles and Evelyn for the U12 High Jump. The girls will join a senior pupil, Michelle E,  to represent the school and West Surrey on Monday 3rd July at the National Prep School Athletics.

The Year 5 girls were a fantastic team and we had medals for the 100m, 200m and relay events. A BIG well done to Emily from who placed 1st in her 100m and 2nd in the 200m

Congratulations to Lenka (Y4) who played her first match representing her tennis club against another tennis club on Saturday and won her singles match 7:5, 6:8, 10:12 (rather long tie break) against an all-boys team.

She was super hot after finishing her match!
